Julia Reedy is a multimedia journalist based in Chicago, Illinois. In May of 2025, she graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University, where she earned her degree in Magazine, News & Digital Journalism. During her time at SU, she served as Executive Editor of Jerk Magazine, a quarterly student-run publication with an alternative perspective. Since then, Julia has enjoyed working for The Saratoga Special — a daily trade publication focusing on the horse racing industry in Saratoga Springs, NY — and most recently, Chicago Magazine.
